Shadows of the past ...

Recently I've obtained a new pet, the Spring Rabbit. Cute as he is, I can't help being overwhelmed with guilt, strengthened by the images that haunt me.

Last night this shadowy, spirit-image appeared in my dream again, and this time it spoke to me. It said the following:


".. Poki .. You've forgotten about me .. "




Scary huh.

My thoughts exactly. I woke up trembling with sweat running all over my forehead. Could this be real? Was this what has become of my beloved Snowshoe Rabbit, and did he really visit me? Real or not, the message has been clear. With the new Rabbit hopping around me, the old one might get forgotten.

But the truth is, I'll never forget my Snowshoe Rabbit, my first pet ever, who sadly no longer is among us. I hope that by sharing this bit with you guys, Snowshoe will live on and finds peace whereever he is, and I hope that peace shall return to me as well ..

Curious about what happened to Snowshoe Rabbit? He comitted suicide. The old guildies might remember, and apparantly I'm still all shook up about it.
